 and I complement each in strange and unusual ways. He was making up a bunch of blank scarf slides (so I could teach scouts how to paint them as various animals as part of the art merit badge) when it occured to him that the cat blank looked like Batman. So he came in from his shop and said, "Hey, could you paint this like Batman for me?"Oh, fine... make those big puppy dog eyes at me, won't you? Unfortunately, the cat blank only really covered Batman's mask. It really needed to be longer so I used some flesh colored Sculpty and added the bottom part of the face. I finished it up with acrylic paint and Sharpies. All things considered, I think this scarf slide is going to be very popular with Boy Scouts this year. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
