Artist's Comments

So I'm drawing at church (where I'm a hall monitor) and I discover that I have no eraser, no water pens, and no sharpener.

I made do.
This is what came out of my Cretacolor pencils. *L* When I got home, I touched it up with Copic markers and a white Sharpie.

And for the life of me, I can't think of a name for her.
Any suggestions?

If you could spare a few minutes, I'd like to bring your attention to *MommySpike's gallery. She's doing the most awesome anthro drawings and is a great artist in general. Her drawing skills amaze me time and again and also the fact that she still finds enough time for drawing while looking after her two kids and husband. One of my all-time favorites from her gallery is 'Lynx' but there are several more that I think deserve attention. Why don't you go and check her whole collection now? Nice work. The texture looks great :)
Is she from Thundercats? I don't know her name anyhow.

Leinkyas?

(I usually go to Gaelic for my naming conventions, but all I came up with was 'loisneach', which I just couldn't fashion into anything that sounded like a name to me; the other version was 'lynks', which was just cheesy)

Guy (no really, that's his name!) from Hellbound

What a unique style! I've never seen anything quite like it. I love the palette you've chosen to use for this, with the browns and white with only small details of other colors. Looks really classy! And the texture is top-notch as well.

Cara . . . like the African Caracal.

I love this! If this doesn't sell at any of the local cons, can I buy it? (I'd ask for a birthday present, but I think someone will get first crack at her.) ^_^

[Smokey the Genie pops out, looks in the door quickly, amid more shrieks, then grins at Bugs]

Smokey : "Oh, THAT was a harem, alright! I know a harem when I see one!"

Very gorgeous drawing! The white marker certainly beefs up those highlights into a supreme quality drawing! As for a name...Dumayla comes to mind for some reason. It's Swahili I believe but for the life of me I can't remember what it means

Lovely!
As for a name, how about Amboyna. (An exotic wood that has a warm brwnish-red color to it. ) Or Fluffy... (though you'd never call her that to her face.)
:iconartemis-prime:
Absolutely gorgeous!

She reminds me a cross between Lynxo and Pumara from Thundercats.

As for a name -- maybe because of the music I've been listening to lately -- what about Sieben?

I'm just going to study this image for a bit.

Ohhh, VERY nice! I really like this one. :)

As for a name, how about Henna?

:bulletpurple: I don't have "pet peeves", I have major, psychotic fucking hatreds. Okay?

Beautiful job! She kind of reminds me of Mercedes Lackey's character Nyara from her Mage Winds trilogy. Great job at working without an eraser and sharpener, I can never manage without them.
