    Spike is hosting an art chat in Station Eight [link] TONIGHT Sunday, March 16th from 7pm EDT to 9pm EDT. Guests will be from the SciFiFantasyHorrorSpaceArt_Shows, a Yahoo group of artists, art directors, and publishers. We will be talking about art shows, conventions, what the fans are buying, and what's not selling. Even if you're not an artist, you're welcome to drop by.

    NOTE FROM THE ARTIST:
    PLEASE do not COLOR or MODIFY my art work!! I like my pencil and ink sketches exactly the WAY they are -- I do NOT find it flattering to find them colorized and posted on someone else's page. The best way to improve your own art is to draw your own characters and to practice, practice, PRACTICE!

    Please don't make MommySpike unhappy!

    Hmm. I remember that one plagiarized piece you found from a few journals back.

    Do you want us to inform you if any others or colored line arts show up un-approved?

    You can if you like. I'm not nearly as upset as I was yesterday. *shrugs* This little outburst was from someone telling me that they colored one of my pics retroactively, as if that was all right, since she'd already done it. She didn't give me adequate credit, she didn't really color it, only tinted the lines in Photoshop, and to really irritate me, she took my name off of it.
