I'm already booked into ConDFW for both con and art show. Two words --- JIM BUTCHER. Then I found out about Furry Fiesta, queried about their art show and now I'm booking for the art show. I'll only be there long enough to hang and take down my art but it should be interesting to see how I do. Fortunately, the hotels for both cons are only 10-15 mins. apart so I think I can do this. I took inventory and out of the things that are already matted, I have 12 pieces for the furry show and 11 for the fantasy/sci fi show.I have a few things that I'm working on and some things waiting for mats.

Diverge '09 sounds interesting but it's more of an art workshop/seminar thing for game designers. The link is actually the Dallas Sketchgroup blog which meets every Sunday at the Half Price Books on NW Highway near North Park Mall. I went once and might do so again if I can work up the nerve.

SUNDAY NIGHT ART CHAT: If anyone is interested, there will be an art chat in Station Eight [link] every Sunday from 7pm EST to 11pm EST. We'll be talking about what's selling and what's not, as well how best to promote your art!
